January 23, 2014 – First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Limited conducted its second monthly Regional and Zonal electronic selection of customers for the “FCMB 30th Anniversary promo” on January 22, 2014. This resulted in an additional 133 lucky customers, from 26 locations around the country, winning various cash and prizes. Three customers won N1million each, while 130 others won LCD Televisions, Fridges, Generators and other cash and prices.
At the Lagos/South-West Regional draw held at Ijebu-Ode in Ogun state, Mrs. Yetunde Adeyemi Oludaisi was rewarded with N1million, while Mr. Abubakar Isah Saba won the N1million at the North Regional draw held in Kaduna. The third N1million winner, Mr. Kevin Osekemen Atama, resulted from the South-East/South-South Regional draw which took place in Enugu.
Speaking on the promo, FCMB’s Senior Vice President/Divisional Head, Retail Banking, Mr. Olu Akanmu, stated that the event was in fulfilment of the promise made by the Bank at the launch of the promo to reward FCMB customers who qualified and participated in the promotion. The promotion, which started in October 2013, will run till February 2014.
Mr. Olu Akanmu went on to inform customers of the Bank and other dignitaries that witnessed the event, that the promo is aimed at encouraging savings and financial inclusion through rewards and prizes. ‘’It is also a way to say a special thank you to our esteemed customers for being invaluable partners over the years as we celebrate our 30 years of existence as a Bank’’.
He also disclosed that the first set of 133 lucky customers of the Bank that emerged winners at the first Regional and Zonal draws, which was held on December 11, 2013, have been rewarded with their respective prizes.
On how to participate in the promo, Mr. Akanmu explained that, ‘’all you need to do, as an existing FCMB customer or potential customer, is to save N10,000 in any of the eligible accounts for 30 days to qualify for the monthly random selection of winners”. Multiple savings of N10, 000 will increase a customer’s chance of qualifying for the electronic selection. He went on to add, “Customers can also save N10,000 in monthly increments over three months or have an incremental average account balance of N30,000.00 in February 2014 to qualify for the grand electronic selection, where the Star Reward of three Hyundai Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) will be given away’’.
While congratulating the winners, Mr. Akanmu assured that, ‘’customers of FCMB, will continue to enjoy excellent services. We urge you to participate actively in this promo as it is meant to enrich the lives of our customers’’. To date, the promotion has awarded a combined total of 266 lucky FCMB customers with cash and other exciting prizes.
